Mr.D.Krishnamurthy,
Born April 6th 1946, is a Member of the Managing Committee of the K.C.I.
(Kennel Club of India) for the past Four Terms, at present he is the
Vice-Chairman of the Kennel Club of India. He entered canine activity in 1972,
and commenced his show career by exhibiting his Saluki and Toy Pomeranian. He
is seriously involved in Breeding German Shepherds, which he still does under
his ‘Kingsway’ prefix. His home bred German Shepherd Dog CH.Kingsways Grand
Slam and his Saluki CH.Kingsways Pin-Up Star have won many top honours. He has
also bred smaller German Spitz, Boxers, Standard Smooth Dachshunds and English
Cocker Spaniels. At the moment he also houses Toy Pomeranian, Whippet, Caravan
Hound and Tibetan Spaniel. His present Kennel prefix is ‘Kings Hill’.

Mr.D.Krishnamurthy is
the President of the S.I.K.C. (South of India Kennel Club). He was the
President of the GSD Club of India from 2001 to 2011. He is the Secretary of
G.S.D. Club of India, Coimbatore Chapter. He is an all Breeds Judge, and figures
in the K.C.I Panel of Judges. In the year 2003, he has judged the Golden Year
Championship Show “1953-2003”, conducted by the All Breeds Kennel Association
Inc. in Tasmania. After which, he had judged the Canberra Autumn International
Festival, All Breeds Show between 21-23rd March 2003. He has judged The
Philippine Canine Club, Inc. All Breeds Championship Dog Show on August 6-7th,
2005 in Manila, Philippines. He has judged The Brisbane Royal Show during
August 10-19th, 2006 in Brisbane. This year on July 11th he Judged the CASIB
Lora Bari Show at Portugalete – Spain, he was the First Indian Judge to Judge
this show where he did the BIS as well. The following week on 18th July he
Judged the Taiwan - FCI International All Breed Championship dog Show. On 20th
and 21st November 2010 he has judged the Spitz and Primitive Types Club
Championship Dog show in Bangkok, Thailand.

Mr.D.Krishnamurthy is a
Member of P.S.G. Family which manages Medical, Technical and Arts Colleges; and
has a Master of Science Degree from (S.U.N.Y) Binghamton, New York and M.B.A.
in Finance and Marketing from University of Buffalo also in New York. He has
been authorized by the United States Department of Agriculture in Memphis,
Tennessee to Class, Grade and Staple Cotton; and holds a Diploma in Cotton
Classing and Stapling from Murdoch’s International Cotton School, Memphis,
Tennessee. He is the Managing Director of M/s. Sri Kumaran Mills Limited which
is an ISO 9001 Company and Managing Partner of M/s. Rithanyaa Textiles, both manufacturing
Fine and Super Fine Cotton Yarn. He is the Director of M/s. G.V.D. Textiles
Pvt. Ltd. Civil Aerodrome Post, Coimbatore. He is also a Director in other
Textile Mills and Finance Companies in Coimbatore.

He is the Chairman of
South India Textile Research Association, a Council Member of the P.S.G.
College of Technology. He is also a founder member of the Vidya Niketan
Matriculation Higher Secondary School. He is the Chairman of the
P.S.G.Venkataswamy Naidu Charities, which educates deserving students in
Colleges and Schools, and Managing Trustee of K.Krishnaswamy Naidu Trust which
runs a Charitable Hospital in Karadivavi Pudur, Palladam Taluk. He is an active
Committee Member in many temples in Peelamedu. He was the Vice-President of the
Coimbatore District Tennis Association, and is a very keen Tennis player.
