About the Judge
FCI All breeds judge, has been active in dog world for over 40 years, as a breeder and exhibitor, and over 30 years also as a championship show judge.
She is Toy breed specialist and has been breeding successfully Cavalier King Charles and King Charles spaniels under prefix “Anncourt” since 1971. She has bred/owned over 60 Champions, some of them winning also at Crufts. She is a member of The Kennel Club, Britain.
Her judging experience covers some 50 countries, including Great Britain, USA, most of Europe and Asia, Australia, as well as South American and African countries.
She is FCI All breeds judge since 2010 and is licensed to judge all FCI breeds, groups and Best in Show. Her rigorous education and training comes from the famous Finnish allrounders Mr Hans Lehtinen, Mr Rainer Vuorinen and Mr Kari Järvinen. Annukka started her judging career in 1986 on her own breeds slowly building up her portfolio.
She has officiated in five FCI World Winner (WDS) shows, latest being WDS in Amsterdam in 2018. She had the honour of judging Best of Group 9 at World Winner show in Paris, France in 2011.
Amsterdam Winner 2012 saw her judging the terrier group, and in Stockholm 2012, Oslo and Helsinki Winner 2013 it was the Best in Show breeders group. Her all-breeds Best in Show appointments so far have been in Finland, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Malta, South Africa, Kenya, Peru, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Philippines and Australia, with the prestigious Sydney Royal BIS appointment in 2016 and BIS at Winner show in Helsinki 2016. Besides FCI shows, she is judging regularly in United Kingdom and had the pleasure of judging Toy Group at Richmond in 2016.
Dr Paloheimo is a respected research specialist in banking and investment services heading a private consulting company. Besides dogs, listening opera, horseback riding and walking in nature gives the best moments in life. She is also involved in charity work to benefit dog-related socially relevant projects.

Sydney Royal Show in Australia. Tokyo main FCI show, Philippine Circuit in Manila, big FCI shows in Bangkok Thailand, many major Championship shows in England. And of course The Winner Show in Helsinki Finland my home country.
